VLC Media Player 2.04 released - Support für Opus, MMS1/2 und bessere Youtube Live Streams

Der VLC Media Player 2.04 wurde um ca. 100 Fehler bereinigt melden die Entwickler. So wurden bei der Wiedergabe von Blu-Ray, DVD, HLS, Ogg und MKV Dateien Verbesserungen vorgenommen, aber auch bei den Streamingfunktionen für Youtube, Vimeo, Koreus und Soundcloud.

Neben den Bugfixes wurde neue Funktionen wie der Opus Codec integriert, inklusive Multichannel und Streams. Die MSS Wiedergabe mit DMO libraries wird nun unterstützt, sowie die korrekte BlueRay Wiedergabe unter MacOS.

Support for HiDPI, aka Retina Display
Support for H264 v4l2 devices on Linux Translations updates and new Scottish Gaelic translation
Fixes for splitted RAR, MKV segmented, mp4 and Real media files playback.
Rewrite of the Digital TV module on Windows
Enhancements in HLS, Blu-Ray and various codecs support
Fixes for subtitles auto-detection
Fixes on Qt, skins2 and web interfaces
