Firefox 3.6.11 + Chrome 7

Heute ist Browser Tag, Mozilla hat Firefox 3.6.11 veröffentlicht und Google bringt Chrome 7 heraus. Bei Mozillla Firefox wurden diverse Sicherheits und Stabilitätsprobleme behoben.

SSL wildcard certificate matching IP addresses
Cross-site information disclosure via modal calls
XSS in gopher parser when parsing hrefs
Dangling pointer vulnerability in LookupGetterOrSetter

Buffer overflow and memory corruption using document.write
Miscellaneous memory safety hazards (rv:1.9.2.11/ 1.9.1.14)

Firefox

Google Chrome 7 (7.0.517.41) war ja schon lange als Beta verfügbar und ist nun "stable". Auch hier wurden jede Menge Verbesserungen vorgenommen, die Wichtigsten sind:
